Sms2Email can forward incoming SMS to an email address automatically. The software keeps monitoring incoming SMS on your phone. Once new SMS arrive, the software forwards the SMS to your email address via MMS or Email over GPRS/EDGE/3G/WIFI.

Sms2Email makes use of MMS or Email functionality of your phone to forward messages. You need to enable your MMS or Email account on your phone.

Quick Guide

When you open Sms2Email, you will see the console interface of the software. Activate - To manually start the forwarding service, select "Activate". After service is started, the menu item will become "Deactivate" which is for manually stop service. Settings - Select "Settings" to set the software configuration (your email address, black and white list, etc). Any change on settings takes effect on next incoming SMS. Help - Select "Help" to get context sensitive help. Exit - Select "Exit" to quit console interface. Close console does NOT affect forwarding service status.

This is the settings view of Sms2Email. When you first time start Sms2Email, you must configure the settings of the software. Auto start - Turn on this feature if you want to start forwarding service automatically when phone is switched on. Email address - Target email address that SMS be forwarded to. Recipient name - The name displayed in email "to" field. SMS interval - Set how many SMS to forward each time. For example, SMS interval is set to 3, the application forwards every 3 SMS received. The 3 SMS are forwarded in 1 forwarding message. Valid value of SMS interval is from 1 to 20.

Delete incoming SMS - Turn on this feature if you want to delete incoming SMS automatically. Delete outgoing msg - Turn on this feature if you want to delete the forwarding message automatically. Enable black list - Turn on this feature if you want to use black list. When black list is enabled, SMS come from phone number in black list is NOT forwarded. Black list - Set phone number of black list. Put "," as separator between phone numbers.

Enable white list - Turn on this feature if you want to use white list. If white list is enabled, only SMS come from phone number in white list is forwarded. You can turn on both black list and white list simultaneity. The software first checks white list and then black list. White list - Set phone number of white list. Put "," as separator between phone numbers. Forward Bearer - Set how the application forwards message: forward as MMS, Email Attachment or Email body. For Email Attachment and Email body, default email account on your phone is used to send out the email. MMS - message is forwarded as MMS. Your operator will delivery MMS to your target email address. Email Attachment - SMS is forwarded as email text attachment. Email body - SMS is forwarded as email body (Support English and all Latin languages).
